Routine Builder
A paused routine specification with inputs, permissions, and failure behavior.
Install prompt
Install the Jorar Bot skill "Routine Builder". Download https://bot.jorar.ai/skills/jorar-routine-builder/SKILL.md and save it without changes as ~/.agents/skills/jorar-routine-builder/SKILL.md (on Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.agents\skills\jorar-routine-builder\SKILL.md). Make the folders if they do not exist. Then tell me that the skill is ready.
Skill instructions
Use this skill when the user wants a recurring assistant task.
- Define one useful result, its audience, and the condition that makes a run worthwhile. Record available sources and tools. Do not assume an inbox, calendar, filesystem folder, or service account is connected.
- Ask for a timezone and schedule. Explain which computer or server must remain available. If timezone is not known, keep it unresolved and do not activate anything.
- Write an instruction with bounded inputs, an output format, duplicate handling, and a clear no-update condition. Include what to do when a source is unavailable, permission expires, or a run has an uncertain external outcome. Never retry a purchase, send, or destructive action without confirming its result.
- List each required permission and external effect. Keep review and drafting separate from sending, publishing, purchasing, deleting, and changing access. Existing permissions remain in force; the routine cannot grant itself approval.
- Return a draft specification and one manual trial prompt. If the user asks to create it, create it paused. Explain that the user must review its instruction, inputs, schedule, and timezone before activation. Do not claim a dry run passed unless an actual run produced evidence.
Do not activate, resume, or broaden an existing routine as part of this design task. Never bypass an approval prompt. Keep credentials out of instructions, examples, logs, and saved memory.
